Lancashire Online Parish Clerks
You can create a narrative and a source citation for all (eventually) the types of event that are found on LanOPC.
Currently available in the program are:

- Marriages

Using the formatter
This is a simple as pasting a block of Lan OPC data into the box and clicking ‘Cite this data’
Finf the data you want by search Lan OPC>
Highlight a block of text by dragging the mouse across it or using whatever your chosen method of copying is and then copy it (Control + C on Windows)
Now open the program and navigate to the Lanc OPC Tab.Paste (Control + V) the data into the text box.
Now click on Cite This Data. Depending on the other settings you will get a citation or a citation and a narrative constructed from the text.

If not ticked only the citation is produced. There is no facility at this time to just create the narrative but it could not doubt be arranged if someone wanted it. If a citation only is being created the option to include or exclude the ref tags is available. The ref tags is a named tag so it can be referred to later in the profile. Applies various different formattings according to the current selection. No further details just at present. See the ‘Layout settings’ tab or the GRO page to get an idea of what this does. Where a line is split in the OPC text you must ‘un-split’ it otherwise the program will not read the line correctly For example: Should have the break between A and child removed thus: This produces the text: ===1731 Baptism===Create narrative checkbox
