The Source Formatter creates genealogy sources formatted for the WikiTree platform or any other wiki based platform. It is not, at present, suitable for straight HTML. It will cope with most inputs from FamilySearch and FindMyPast. Additionally it will format Irish census data and data derived from the IrishGenealogy.ie website. The source formatter also formats data from FindAGrave and the British GRO as well as the Lancashire Online Parish Clerks Project. Please bear in mind this is a tool I wrote for myself and it has bugs and little in the way of instructions! Just at present I do not have time to sort them out but on the whole it is a workable tool.
Download the latest version of the Source Formatter and unzip the file. Then run the setup exe file.
You may need to install the Microsoft Windows desktop runtime for .NET 6.0 (Currently 6.0.21)
Please note that this ONLY runs on Windows 7 upwards. It will not run on Linux or a Mac without the installation of additional software.
